Intergenerational Yoga ( Spanish & English )

An invitation to bring families and communities together through yoga. A gentle and
playful sequence of yoga, breath work and chanting. There are options to adapt the
practice to our body& abilities for those that required some extra care. The session
invites playful movements and sounds to engage with little ones. ( Wide range of ages )

This experience will provide a nourishing and caring space, a new activity where and
the opportunity to do something together as a family or community.
Setting up the space and energy for the session. Exploration of gentle and dynamic
movements from yoga and their connection with breath. There will be a gradual
transition from dynamic to resting postures. At the end of the session there will be a
closing circle, use of breath and chanting to share caring and loving energies to each

About the artist:
Jose is an interdisciplinary performing Artist, Facilitator, Somatic and Transpersonal
Psychotherapist, Yogi, Physical Therapist and Creator. He started his journey in his native
Chile, where he graduated as Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Actor. During that time, he
added into his blend specialised courses in Meditation, Gestalt, Transpersonal
Psychotherapy, Breath work, Psychodrama and Projective testing. Jose also has creative
workshops in Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation, Emotional Expression, Singing
and Spoken voice. His integrative practice continues to expand adding formal training in
Remedial Massage Therapy, Yoga, and Myotherapy; together with exploring workshops
related to Alexander Technique, TaKeTiNa, Somatic Therapy, Trauma Awareness and Animal
Studies. He has performed in Theatre and Contemporary Dance internationally, in
professional and community scenarios. Jose has also facilitated creative, educational and
therapeutic sessions. These sessions engage with different age groups; including preps,
primary, secondary, Tertiary and elderly education.
Jose has a strong connection with communities that identify as Multicultural, Linguistically
Diverse, People of Colour and LGBTQIA+. He also worked in group settings with patients,
caregivers and family members of people with Dementia, PTSD, Chronic Mental and Physical
Health conditions, as well as those who had experienced Displacement. Jose embraces with
love, respect and care every moment and activity he’s involved in. He is committed to
bringing about a sense of joy, uniqueness, and wellbeing to those around him.
