Reading Salih Books ( English )
Join us for a gentle child-friendly discussion about why people have to leave their homes.
We will be talking about emotions on the pages, in words and pictures.
There will be an activity involving drawing a turtle shell backpack:
– The children will be asked them to draw 10 spaces of scutes to make up the shell.
– within the shells, we’ll explore things we would bring with us on our journey – things to
survive the journey, things that help make us who we are, things we can share with others,
and a picture of something that makes us happy. ( Age: 5 -10 )
