Revive Yoga ( Spanish & English )

Practice of Integrative Yoga through incorporation of breath work (Pranayama), postures (Asana) and meditation (Dhyana). ( Age 13 – Up )
A gentle sequence, with a restorative approach to provide care to our mental health through the connection with our bodies. A safe practice to reconnect with your inner self, aiming to release stress from our system and refill it with caring and loving life’s energy.
This session is specially designed for people that have symptoms of anxiety and depression, and for those who have being exposed or have experienced trauma.  This session will be guided with total love, care, and knowledge to provide a safe and nourishing practice.
Setting up the space and energy for the session. Checking for any special requirement and providing an agreement in how to proceed to take care and respect ourselves and each other. Exploration of gentle and dynamic movements from yoga and their connection with breath. Gently transitioning between postures. Constant offering of variations to find what suits better each participant. Breath and sound work to share caring and loving energies to ourself and to each participant.

About the artist:
Jose is an interdisciplinary performing Artist, Facilitator, Somatic and Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Yogi, Physical Therapist and Creator. He started his journey in his native Chile, where he graduated as Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Actor. During that time, he added into his blend specialised courses in Meditation, Gestalt, Transpersonal Psychotherapy, Breath work, Psychodrama and Projective testing. Jose also has creative
workshops in Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation, Emotional Expression, Singing and Spoken voice. His integrative practice continues to expand adding formal training in Remedial Massage Therapy, Yoga, and Myotherapy; together with exploring workshops related to Alexander Technique, TaKeTiNa, Somatic Therapy, Trauma Awareness and Animal Studies. He has performed in Theatre and Contemporary Dance internationally, in professional and community scenarios. Jose has also facilitated creative, educational and therapeutic sessions. These sessions engage with different age groups; including preps, primary, secondary, Tertiary and elderly education.  Jose has a strong connection with communities that identify as Multicultural, Linguistically Diverse, People of Colour and LGBTQIA+. He also worked in group settings with patients, caregivers and family members of people with Dementia, PTSD, Chronic Mental and Physical Health conditions, as well as those who had experienced Displacement. Jose embraces with love, respect and care every moment and activity he’s involved in. He is committed to bringing about a sense of joy, uniqueness, and wellbeing to those around him.
